Your Admission Experience
At Garden State Classical Academy, we aim to create a welcoming and informative admissions experience for both you and your child. Our goal is to ensure that you feel supported in finding the right school for your child. While the admissions process is thorough, we want it to be simple and straightforward. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you need, whenever you need. We are here to assist you.
Application
Your application provides us with the email addresses of the educators at your child’s current school who can best provide academic and behavioral recommendations for your child. We will then send them reference forms. We will also provide recommendation forms for homeschooling families or other educational settings.
Once you submit the application, you or your current school will send us copies of all required academic history documents. If you are a homeschool parent, we ask that you provide such documentation yourself so we can best understand your child's educational needs.
Once we receive these required documents, we will review the application to determine whether we can likely meet your child's needs.
Family Interview
If we think GSCA can serve your child well, we will reach out to schedule a family interview and academic assessment. Based upon your completed application, interview, and academic assessment, we will either offer your child enrollment or will recommend a more suitable alternative to meet your needs.
Acceptance
To accept your enrollment invitation, complete the online enrollment forms within 14 days of receiving your invitation.
Enrollment invitations for the current school year are sent no more than 10 business days after your interview and student academic assessment are completed. They will be communicated to you by phone and email.
